Through a striking Melbourne wall painting, BinanceThe leading Cryptocurrency exchange in the world has revealed the fans designed racing helmet that Formula One driver Pierre Gasly will carry during this weekend’s season opening race in Australia.
Through Binance’s Worldwide Pierre Gasly Helmet Design Contest, a Brazilian fan came with the winning design. Its top is carved with the country’s famous green and gold, national icons such as kangaroo and emu, and a tribute to the history of the racing circle.
Pierre and admirers were there when Matt Adnate, one of the most famous street eels in the country, brought the concept to life with a fantastic mural against Melbourne Cityscape. An eagle, a formidable native of Victoria, is shown in the artwork as a sign of speed, accuracy and the spirit of competition that drives the race.
The interactive augmented reality (AR) experience, which is perfectly incorporated into the mural, gives the entire helmet design life. Through a QR code or this linkFans can tour in the race track and interact with the helmet from all perspectives thanks to this engrossing Augmented reality function, which is available all over the world.
In January 2025, the helmet design competition attracted more than 500 submissions from more than 75 nations, and culminated with this remarkable announcement. Pierre Gasly and his team were part of the judge panel that chose the winning design.
After the race, Gasly will auction its Australian helmet as part of the campaign, with the money raised for Crow Youth Boxing, a local non -profit organization that supports the development of First Nation’s youth communities.
Pierre Gasly said:
“The mural gives the winning helmet design life in a bold, dynamic way. The competition showed the fans’ passion and creativity all over the world, and it is incredible to see their vision come to life. Binance continues to bring fans closer to the sport, and I can’t wait to carry this design on the right track in Melbourne. “
The winning proposal was created by the Brazilian Motorsport fan Tiago Barra, which will now receive a full-size, autographed replica helmet.
Barra said:
“I still can’t believe I won the competition – it’s an amazing feeling! I am very happy to see the helmet in action for the season opener in Melbourne. The design has Australia’s national colors – gold and green – with a nod for binance signature colors. It also contains Pierres number 10 and symbols of resistance and speed, which reflects the properties of Pierre and the requirements of the track! “
