Mysterious Whale buys 14,254 Ethereum, spends $52.47 million


A mysterious cryptocurrency whale with the wallet name ‘7 Siblings’ went Ethereum shopping on Tuesday. The anonymous whale spent a whopping $52.47 million to amass 14,254 ETH when the price dropped to $3,681. Valen has already taken a hit at $50 as ETH is now trading in the $3,631 range on the charts.

The identity of the mystery whale remains unknown except for the pseudonymous wallet name. The same “7 Siblings” pick has accumulated tokens on every dip this year. The market has been sharply bullish on Bitcoin and ETH while other altcoins and meme coins are struggling.

When the market dipped in October, Valen borrowed $40 million from AAVE and spent $5 million in USDC to buy 1,326 Ethereum, which was trading at $3,771. In February, the same whales had also bought 45,047 ETH tokens at $2,480. Overall, the whales are sitting with comfortable gains on ETH and steadily buying the dips.

It is not known if the 7 Siblings wallet is an individual merchant or an entity. The scale of the purchases is huge and brings profits in the millions. ETH is among the most sought after and trusted cryptocurrencies by retail and financial entities. After hitting a record high of $4,946 in August, Ethereum cooled in price and is down nearly 27% from its ATH.
