The Japanese investment company MetaPlanet has announced the purchase of an additional 1234 Bitcoin (BTC), worth approximately $ 133 million. According to documents, the company currently has 12,345 BTC valued at approximately $ 1.33 billion. The meta plane now has more BTC than Tesla. From February 20225, the electric car manufacturer contained 11 509 BTC.
Bitcoin on the way to a new top?
The meta -plane’s large purchase corresponds to BTC’s latest rally. The original crypto market recycled the level of $ 107,000 and accumulated 1.5% in daily lists, 2.6% in the weekly lists and 74.2% since the end of June 2024. Despite the raised turnaround, BTC is still down by 0.1% in the 14-day diagrams and 1% compared to the previous month.
The dip may have been further run by the Federal Reserve’s decision to keep interest rates unchanged. An interest rate reduction may have led to a much larger rally.
The current market rally is also probably increasing due to an increase in institutional inflows. The meta plane has consistently bought more BTC in recent weeks. Apart from the last purchase, the investment company BTC bought $ 111 million earlier this week.
