Bitcoin holders with balance between 100 and 1,000 coins have collected a record 3.65 million bitcoin, according to Blockchain Analytics Glassnode.
These investors, called “Sharks” by Glassnode, added about 65,000 bitcoin to their holdings in the last seven days. The purchase rate has been accelerated, with this group that registers a net increase of 93,000 bitcoin in the last 30 days.
The accumulation pattern represents the highest total holding for this investor category, which lies between smaller retail investors and large institutional owners or “whales” which usually have more than 1,000 bitcoin.
