Bitcoin in national reserves has become a rather fascinating topic of discussion right now, especially since confidence in the US Dollar continues to face some challenges. According to a new and quite surprising survey, about 80% of Americans would actually prefer to see some of the national gold reserves transformed into bitcoin, which really signals a remarkable change in the public’s feeling against Cryptocurrency.

Survey reveals strong support over demographics


At the time of this writing, the Nakamoto project investigated about 3,345 Americans about their thoughts on bitcoin in national reserves, and they found consistent support in various demographic groups.
Troy Cross, associated with the project, pronounced:
“We were also surprised too. But the results are the results. Many other studies have since confirmed what we found: in politics and in many other ways American Bitcoiners look a lot like America itself.”
Americans prefer diversification strategy
The survey also indicates that many Americans actually support currency substitution strategies that include Cryptocurrency along with traditional assets such as gold.
Dennis Porter, a digital asset commentator, noted:
“My last takeaway: Americans just don’t care about gold so much and most people are prone to diversify when they get the choice.”
